i’ve been told that spybot search and destroy is very effective…and free, which is always good. a friend of mine put it on my laptop for me and it sped it up a bit and got rid of A LOT of adware. so, spybot is what i would recommend.

You might need a registry repair application. There are a couple free registry fix apps. Just check download.com. If nothing else works, just do a system restore to the day before the adware got on your computer. Always remember to run windows update first thing after you do a restore.

The suggestion to use adaware or spybot search & destroy is good, but you’ll want to run one of them and AVG in safe mode to remove any tenacious malware.
So once you’ve installed one of them, restart your computer. While your computer is booting keep pressing F8 until you see a black screen that gives you a selection of ways to boot into Windows. Select one of the safe mode options. The graphics will look huge, but all is fine.
Just run a scan in AVG and your adware remover. It should be able to detect & remove anything that is hiding during normal mode. Once it’s done, just restart and run as normal.

try using spybot search and destroy, but if you want to do it yourself, go to START-RUN type regedit.exe, then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then look down the tree untill you find classes\wr, then you can just delete that key, just be carefull you dont delete the wrong key, and do a backup before you do this, just in case, not all things are able to be cleaned by antivirus and malware programs, and to the useless answers you got from other people, if you havnt got anything constructive to say, dont say anything just for the points
