Go to and download the free edition. Run the scan at least once a week. It will get rid of any viruses, spyware and adware that’s infecting your computer. It detects many viruses, etc. that other programs miss. I had a similar problem and have not had any trouble since downloading this program. Hope this helps you.

I’ve had great success with avg coupled with adaware. These may be the best free ones out there for virus/spyware removal

You have a spyware/adware infection

and/or

You may have to scan in safe mode(press f8 while booting)
