i still have popups like crazy and also some of the words on the pages are underlined and highleted with green text that lead to searches that i dont want

My guest computer has all sorts of viruses, and i’ve run 4 virus scans and removed the viruses, 2 were from (PCTools Anti-Virus) and 2 were from Ad-Aware Personal SE. The computer still runs very slow, crashes sometimes, and still has a lot of offline pop-ups. This has happened before but the only way i fixed it was re-doing the whole computer itself, which i don’t wanna do again. It says it fixes them, but I’ll run a scan right away and there they are again! I got Spyware Doctor, which found 1215 bits of adware/spyware on the first run, then 289, then 18, and most recently 5. The problem is, every time I run a scan on either program, these things are “deleted,” “resolved,” or “healed.” So why do the same viruses with the same names keep showing up on EVERY scan??? Is there something on my computer that re-installs them? I am getting tired of the constant pop-ups! Can anyone suggest something that will take all of these things off my computer?
